Know your hot and cold spots

Every pro shop space has areas where products always sell quickly (hot spots) as well as locations where merchandise never seems to move (cold spots).

Recognise these areas and by rotating merchandise in and out of these areas can help to maximise your pro shop sales.

Don’t limit your golf club sales opportunities to your equipment area.

Try occasionally moving some of your club displays to the front hot spot of your shop e.g. by putting a driver, utility or putter display near your front counter this may create an impulse buy.
