Use displays to 'trap' golfers in your shop

on 22 June, 2013

Many Pro Shop operators believe it should be easy for golfers to check in at the counter and get out to the golf course.

Unfortunately, this approach gives customers no reason to spend time shopping before or after their round.

By creating several paths through merchandise to the counter, fixtures can act like rocks in a river requiring customers to weave in and out of product areas and take a journey through your shop.

This increases the chance that merchandise will be seen and, more importantly, purchased.

Critically consider the location of your shop counter and its effect on customer traffic flow in your Pro Shop.
